About Evan

I grew up in North Carolina, moved to Miami for college, and found my way into photojournalism and visual communications. That is where I discovered I could combine my love for sports and photography, and it changed everything.

Travel, culture, and photography have taken me around the world, but Japan is where I found a deeper purpose. Now I help others see it through their own lens.

The Path

How photography became the guide.

What started on the sidelines of basketball and football grew into a career telling stories through images. Photojournalism taught me to be observant, patient, and ready for the moment that matters.

Over time, my lens turned from sports arenas to streets, temples, and mountain trails. I found myself chasing light in places that felt alive with history and meaning.

Why Japan

Tradition, weather, timing, and light.

Japan is endlessly inspiring, where tradition and modern life exist side by side. The natural beauty, the attention to detail, and the seasonal rhythm feed my creativity every single day.

I love sharing Japan with travelers who want more than a checklist. My goal is to help you slow down, see deeply, and come home with images you are proud of.
